  1. I wanted to try bevilex's modlist guide for oblivion. I have a fresh download of the steam version of oblivion installed on an SSD under "X:\Steam\steamapps\common". I installed Wrye Bash, so now I have the "Mopy" folder in the oblivion folder, "X:\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion".

  2. Did you run the game before installing Wrye Bash? Registry entries are only set once you run the game. If that doesn't work, can just download the wrye bash version called "standalone excetutable" and put the whole "Mopy" folder inside into the Oblivion folder (NOT data) and see if that works.

This is especially important if you are installing to a new location on Vista and Win7. This will also remove all of the helper programs you have in the Oblivion folder. Such as OBMM, OBSE and some others.
