After you have created the sim and put them in a house, then save and quit. Then you can put your mods in the mods folder. The game puts the Electronic Arts folder in your Documents folder. It does not put the folder where the game files are installed. Hope this helps.

The option should be under Sims 4 > Manage > Manage add-ons. The packs should install into the folder for the Steam-installed base game, and everything should load from there. If your packs show as installed in the EA App but don't load in-game, you probably have this issue: https://answers.ea.
30 cze 2023 · The mods folder is in the same location no matter where we install the game from: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. You can copy/paste this in to File Explorer in Windows operating systems to get there: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\. Yes, create it if you don't have a Mods folder there.

Make sure there is no existing folder with the name of the symlink you want to create in the location you'll be creating it—rename the current folder if necessary.
The problem starts when I look in my EA and steam folders for the mods folder (attaching an image below) Steam on the left (no mod folder showing), Electronic Arts on the right (no games showing (the sims is the only EA game I currently have)

18 lis 2022 · My mods folder is in steamlibrary > steamapps > common > TheSims4 > Mods I downloaded the rescource.cfg file and put it in the mods folder. I have no subfolders inside the mod folder. Its still not showing up ingame.
