After the most recent update, my cc/mods have not been reading in-game. I checked the box that says enable mods after updating, all my cc is in my mods folder with the resource.cfg file and there are no subfolders.

Default value is \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods Compare the path with the path you're currently using for your mods. If you use another folder, copy your mods to the mods folder, where the game can find them.
You can see the path to the Mods folder includes OneDrive, whereas the path you see in-game does not. To open the correct folder, open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, double-click the C drive, then open Users > your username > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
16 sty 2024 · It can be so frustrating when you launch The Sims 4 to find that the awesome new CC you’ve downloaded isn’t working, or you notice a broken CC in CAS or your Buy/Build Catalog and you don’t even remember what it is. Luckily it’s usually an easy fix, though there are several potential causes.
If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem.
Start the game and a new mods folder will be generated in the documents -electronic arts-sims 4 folder . Exit the game. Then put the cc back from the desktop mods folder in batches into the new mods folder and test after each batch to see if they appear in the game.
This is the fix that worked for me! In the sims 4 folder there's a file called gameversion.txt (mine currently says 1.70.84.1020). If the number that's in that file doesn't match the current version your game displays then mods don't work.
