2 sie 2014 · I've recently uninstalled and I want to reinstall the game outside of program files but steam does not allow me to place it in another folder or perhaps I am just missing the browse button. All that comes up is a location in my program files and my external hardrive.
5 sty 2011 · The 'Oblivion Install Directory' Means the folder that the Oblivion is installed in (Directory=Folder) - look for a file called Oblivion. exe (NOT the ESM or ESP) and put it in the same folder.
Steam Win7 or Vista users, can achieve the same end by installing Steam to C:\Games or another custom folder and then installing Oblivion, since Oblivion will be installed under the Steam folder. It is normal for the setup to take a while.
Windows 7 and Vista users should choose an install directory outside of the program files folder to escape the UAC's overprotection. Choose a custom folder, a folder that does not already exist on the drive, to ensure that the UAC does not control it.
21 sie 2019 · I have ~10 years old GOTY edition of Oblivion. It installed without any issues - both main game and expansions. The game runs for me, but I can't change any graphics settings. When I wish to enter Optins from the launcher, I receive information that the Oblivion.ini file is missing.
