10 kwi 2011 · Run oblivion by running obse_loader.exe from the Oblivion directory. If you use a desktop shortcut to launch Oblivion normally, just update the shortcut to point to obse_loader.exe instead of oblivion.exe.

I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
Download Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) to the Oblivion folder; Extract it there. (It will add a folder containing the OBSE files.) Copy the following up into the Oblivion folder: "obse_1_2_416.dll", "obse_editor_1_2.dll", and "obse_loader.exe."
2 gru 2013 · The only thing you need to do is the workaround to load MO via script extender (this places a hook.dll and mo_path.txt in your Data\OBSE\plugins folder once you close MO after selecting it). The way OBSE works with steam is not the same as SKSE. You don't load the game with obse_loader.exe.

21 lis 2016 · The obse_loader application is for the retail version. Make sure the Steam Community is enabled, then launch the game normally through Steam. You do not need to use the loader unless you are using the retail version. If it still does not work, try using the obse_steam_loader from version 0017b. #1.
