26 mar 2022 · 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused. Maybe reinstall to different directory than "Program Files" will help?
7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
Users can open the folder by entering %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Oblivion into Start>Run. Note that this is typically a hidden folder. In Explorer, use Tools: Folder Options: View: Hidden Files and Folders to reveal hidden folders. DLCList.txt[edit]
A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
10 lip 2021 · The launcher uses its registry entry, so by changing the location of your game directory or it's name would lead to the error. The only way to fix it without changing back the file's name or location is to edit the registry entry of the launcher with regedit but am not sure how to do so.
Launching Oblivion through OBMM automatically launches the game with OBSE, if OBSE is detected.
