26 mar 2022 · Whenever I run obse however, it gives me the error message "obse couldnt not find oblivion.exe, please use obse in the same folder as oblivion.exe", but they are absolutely in the same folder already. I've used the script extender for Fallout 3 and New Vegas and they have worked just fine so far since the fist try. Can anybody help out here?
10 kwi 2011 · Copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_loader.exe and the Data folder to your Oblivion directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder, and should contain files called "Oblivion.exe" and "OblivionLauncher.exe".
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
Make sure your folder options are set with Hide extensions for known file types disabled. Locate the file: On Windows 7 64-bit systems, this file is found at C:\Windows\SysWOW64\gameux.dll.
Download Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) to the Oblivion folder; Extract it there. (It will add a folder containing the OBSE files.) Copy the following up into the Oblivion folder: "obse_1_2_416.dll", "obse_editor_1_2.dll", and "obse_loader.exe." If you use the Steam version, move "obse_steam_loader.dll" as well.
21 lis 2016 · First make sure that you install OBSE into the Oblivion folder and not the Data folder. Extract these files into the oblivion folder. Data. obse_1_2_416.dll. obse_editor_1_2.dll. obse_steam_loader.dll. The obse_loader application is for the retail version. Make sure the Steam Community is enabled, then launch the game normally through Steam.
Make sure you've copied the OBSE files to your oblivion folder. That folder should also contain oblivion.exe. Check the file obse_loader.log in your oblivion folder for errors.
