26 mar 2022 · Whenever I run obse however, it gives me the error message "obse couldnt not find oblivion.exe, please use obse in the same folder as oblivion.exe", but they are absolutely in the same folder already. I've used the script extender for Fallout 3 and New Vegas and they have worked just fine so far since the fist try. Can anybody help out here?

10 kwi 2011 · Run oblivion by running obse_loader.exe from the Oblivion directory. If you use a desktop shortcut to launch Oblivion normally, just update the shortcut to point to obse_loader.exe instead of oblivion.exe.
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
3 cze 2020 · I've spent close to 48-56 hours scouring the internet for some posts regarding detection issues between Oblivion Script Extender and MenuQue. The main mod page says to put it in the Oblivion folder, so I assume that meant where the executable is.
8 wrz 2010 · You have to make sure the *.dll files are being installed to .\Data\OBSE\plugins\. OBSE will automatically load all files located in this directory. You can check the obse.log file in Oblivion's root directory to see if everything is being loaded correctly.
Select Oblivion.exe, check ‘force load libraries’. Click configure libraries. In row 1, set column 1 to Oblivion.exe and column 2 to obse_your_version.dll. Those files should be located in your main directory. Save & apply. Run the game through MO2 using Oblivion.exe, not the OBSE loader. 1.
2 sie 2017 · 1. Copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_steam_loader.dll and the Data folder to your Oblivion directory. This is usually "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\oblivion". 2. Ensure you have enabled the Steam community in-game, or OBSE will fail to load.
