26 mar 2022 · 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused. Maybe reinstall to different directory than "Program Files" will help?
23 lip 2021 · Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) does a check at startup if Oblivion.exe is vaild executable. Otherwise the Oblivion Script Extender will not run. The Oblivion installation must be on the same drive where your have steam installed.
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
22 lip 2018 · In MO go to settings -> workarounds and set the load mechanism to Script Extender. Start the Modify executables dialog to create a new executable. Give the executable a title, f.i. Steam.
Place obse_1_2_416.dll and Data in the Oblivion game folder, the one that contains Oblivion.exe. Those files, unfortunately, do not exist. They are in the old OBSE ( here ), but they don't appear to be anywhere in xOBSE.
10 kwi 2011 · Run oblivion by running obse_loader.exe from the Oblivion directory. If you use a desktop shortcut to launch Oblivion normally, just update the shortcut to point to obse_loader.exe instead of oblivion.exe.
