2 sie 2014 · I've recently uninstalled and I want to reinstall the game outside of program files but steam does not allow me to place it in another folder or perhaps I am just missing the browse button. All that comes up is a location in my program files and my external hardrive.
1 cze 2016 · It installs to the same folder as you find Oblivion.exe ... by default in the Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion folder. You do need to have the game installed first and then it should find the correct folder when you run the installer version (extract the ZIP file and run obmm_setup.exe).
First, if you haven't already, simply close Wabbajack and retry the install. It keeps all your progress and will try to get the files it failed to download before. This usually fixes those errors. If that doesn't work, place these archives in your downloads folder of your Heartland install: Kvatch Guard Features Devastation Redux Patch ...
7 wrz 2017 · I'm trying follow the steps for installing oblivion reloaded, and I can't find oblivion.ini in order to change recommended settings. I've unselected "hide extensions for know file types" in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion folder, and searched for it in my whole C: drive to no avail.
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
27 maj 2022 · Steam only installs to the directory that will be revealed. There will be a folder in Documents (mine are in Documents/My Games) with save data, and maybe some other stuff, but that isn't the install directory.
