10 lip 2022 · Just re-downloaded oblivion and every time I try and start the game it doesn't get to the launch menu. I tried going into the game files to start it but I can't get past the launcher. Any help would be appreciated.

7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
20 mar 2023 · folder should contain files BlendSettings Oblivion.ini RendererInfo.txt and after game starts your saves folder. if these files are missing also besides no saves
I have copied the 3 .dll files to the installation folder and the OBSE folder to the Data folder with the .ini file inside it. I have Steam overlay active and running properly on the game. I have tried launching both the Oblivion.exe file independently and from within my Steam library.
You may need to relaunch the game from its install directory which is something like steam/steamapps/common/The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, simply launch oblivion.exe and it will generate a new, default oblivion.ini file.
when I launch Oblivion in Steam, after a few seconds the launcher shows up and all the options are available, but when I press Play it says “The Oblivion Launcher could not find the Oblivion game executable. 4 paź 2022 · This includes removing the game folder, the Oblivion folder in My Games (after backing up the save games you want to keep), and all registry entries for Oblivion and, if applicable, mods and unofficial patches. Incomplete un-installations are among the main reasons why Oblivion refuses to start.
