7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
25 sty 2013 · Right-Click Oblivion in your steam list, select properties, go to local files tab. Press verify integrity of game cache. Wait till this has run through and downloaded the missing files. Use this if not even the launcher appears or if you get "game not available" messages. Restart Steam.

A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
You need to specify where your save folder is the oblivion.ini located in Documents\My Games\Oblivion or move your saves to the default location, Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves. At least, that is how it works normally for retail and steam versions. The default in the .ini is SLocalSavePath=Saves\.

13 wrz 2018 · Solution 1: Delete Oblivion Folder in My Games folder. Navigate to Local Disk > Users > Your Account’s Name > Documents > My Games > Oblivion. Select everything besides Saves folder, right-click and choose Delete option. Restart Oblivion from Steam Client. Solution 2: Install Codec Pack. Visit Codec Guide to download K-Lite Codec Pack.
