CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.

7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.

15 cze 2024 · The easiest way is to simply restore a backup of vanilla oblivion that you made shortly after installing the game. The next time you install Oblivion, it is recommended you do this for troubleshooting and modding purposes.
