7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
There is a way to get OBSE to launch properly from what I found. Find launcher_settings.cfg (in the content folder) and open it with notepad. Then you just change the Binary Path line to BinaryPath=obse_loader.exe
1 sie 2010 · The mod came into the data files folder, and everything was just great. However, i downloaded two more mods, and now its saying this whenever i try to execute OBSE Launcher: "Oblivion.exe not found. Please place OBSE into the folder Oblivion.exe is in."
3 cze 2020 · You can find more information in you obse.log files directly under the Oblivion folder as that shows what OBSE plugins Oblivion is loading. If there are any errors, they would be located there.
Make sure you've copied the OBSE files to your oblivion folder. That folder should also contain oblivion.exe. Check the file obse_loader.log in your oblivion folder for errors.
2 wrz 2016 · open up regedit and fix the install path key at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\bethesda softworks\oblivion. I've seen this happen before when people have multiple copies of the game on their PC and the game is looking in the wrong place. Just bypass the launcher and run oblivion.exe.
