18 lip 2017 · To get a complete uninstall, you need to first remove it as usual through Steam and then delete the install folder itself under ../SteamApps/common/ to remove any remaining mods. Once that's done, delete all the Oblivion folders under My Documents, especially any that are associated with a manager.

31 maj 2024 · The only consistent work around I've found to my game not crashing on start up is deleting my oblivion folder in my documents directory. But I have to delete it every time I launch the game which is becoming tediius. I'd rather not have to open that file and delete it then redo all my settings.
20 lis 2018 · The simplest way is to delete the Oblivion folder completely. The new install will re create the folder for you. This is especially important if you are installing to a new location on Vista and Win7.
A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
