18 lip 2017 · To get a complete uninstall, you need to first remove it as usual through Steam and then delete the install folder itself under ../SteamApps/common/ to remove any remaining mods. Once that's done, delete all the Oblivion folders under My Documents, especially any that are associated with a manager.
The only consistent work around I've found to my game not crashing on start up is deleting my oblivion folder in my documents directory. But I have to delete it every time I launch the game which is becoming tediius. I'd rather not have to open that file and delete it then redo all my settings.
1 mar 2009 · DO NOT delete the Oblivion.exe or the Oblivion folder as that will cause problems when you try to uninstall or reinstall - allow the game uninstaller to take care of it. Uninstalling Oblivion - you gotta remove it completely before you can reinstall it.
25 sty 2013 · Right-Click Oblivion in your steam list, select properties, go to local files tab. Press verify integrity of game cache. Wait till this has run through and downloaded the missing files. Use this if not even the launcher appears or if you get "game not available" messages. Restart Steam.
Your saved games are located in your C:\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion directory.
19 wrz 2023 · When I checked the My Games/Oblivion/ Saves all the save files are there. I need help with this because I dont want to start a new game. I tried deleting my Oblivion profile from Vortex and readding it but its still not showing the save file in the game itself
10 lip 2021 · when I go into the launcher and press play, I get an error from the oblivion launcher that says "The Oblivion Launcher could not find the Oblivion game executable. Please reinstall Oblivion". this happens whether I click the shortcut or the launcher itself in the oblivion folder in the file explorer
