7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
26 mar 2022 · Posted March 26, 2022. I can think of some problems which could arise: 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused.
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.

19 cze 2020 · For probably the billionth time with people trying to play Oblivion, I have tried everything from 8-year-old forum posts to more recent threads and I have not found a solution to my problem: I have copied the 3 .dll files to the installation folder and the OBSE folder to the Data folder with the .ini file inside it.
Your saved games are located in your C:\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion directory.
