22 maj 2020 · I have owned the game since 2006. the only place the game has stored saves under windows me, win 7 and win 10 is Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves using One Drive? look in One Drive folders look in recycle bin. search hard drives for .ess files. (skyrim also saves in .ess files)
A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.

23 cze 2013 · I have recently bought Oblivion GOTY from steam but I couldn't find the data folder when i tried to install mods. There is no data folder in my program files or in my steam files. The game is installed and works perfectly.
25 sty 2013 · Right-Click Oblivion in your steam list, select properties, go to local files tab. Press verify integrity of game cache. Wait till this has run through and downloaded the missing files. Use this if not even the launcher appears or if you get "game not available" messages. Restart Steam.
Steam only installs to the directory that will be revealed. There will be a folder in Documents (mine are in Documents/My Games) with save data, and maybe some other stuff, but that isn't the install directory.
20 maj 2021 · Right click the game from your steam library > Properties > Local Files > Move install folder. You can also set up your Steam Library Folders to be off of the C drive, which is absolutely recommended for anything related to modding right at the beginning.
