A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.

2 lis 2024 · Games with Steam Cloud support may also store data in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/22330/. Use Wine's registry editor to access any Windows registry paths. The app ID (22330) may differ in some cases.
I accidentally clicked on 'download cloud files' and apparently that was the save that was further back. If there's no solution, I've lost about 5 hours of progress. Are the local files of my save gone/overwritten? If so is there a way to revert them?
25 paź 2022 · You can download just your save files without re-downloading the entire game. To find your save files, visit Valve's View Steam Cloud page in your web browser and sign in with your Steam account. You'll see a list of games using your Steam Cloud storage.
