I just bought oblivion on Steam and while I can get the launcher to open, the game itself will not load. When i click play, the launcher just closes and then nothing happens. Here's what I've tried so far: Running in compatibility mode. Running in windowed mode.
20 mar 2023 · win 11 comes with libraries to run win 11 - and NOT to run all old games/apps. go to the game folder then directx folder. run dxsetup with admin permission if you do not have it installed.
10 lis 2023 · Locate your Oblivion Documents folder. Turn the cloud off for Oblivion. 1 - Remove or delete the Saves folder. 2 - Delete the Blendstings, Oblivion and Renderinfo files. (The saves folder and data files are all contained in the Oblivion Documents folder. Oblivion will create new files the first time you load your game.)
7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
the path is This PC > Windows (C:) > GOG Galaxy > Games > Oblivion. the games folder has oblivion, morrowind, daggerfall and arena in it but the oblivion file wasn't originally there (I have a pirated version of the gog edition, completely vanilla with all dlcs), I originally had it in my d drive/sd card in a separate folder.
I'm playing the GOT version of Oblivion. My SO recently upgraded our laptop to Windows 11 and I want to reinstall the game due to mod problems and now I was wondering if it there will be compatibility issues. Thanks
