7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.

A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
The game runs for me, but I can't change any graphics settings. When I wish to enter Optins from the launcher, I receive information that the Oblivion.ini file is missing. AFAIK it should be created at the moment when I launch the game. But for some reason I can't find it anywhere.
I have tried copying Oblivion_default.ini into MyGames/Oblivion folder, renaming it to Oblivion.ini and changing resolution there, but the game didn't seem to read the file and it nothing changed. And there's another major problem: I can't save my game.
