7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
10 lip 2021 · when I go into the launcher and press play, I get an error from the oblivion launcher that says "The Oblivion Launcher could not find the Oblivion game executable. Please reinstall Oblivion". this happens whether I click the shortcut or the launcher itself in the oblivion folder in the file explorer
Delete the Oblivion.ini file (in the My Games Oblivion folder) if it exists, in order to make sure all settings are reset. Launch the game. A new fresh, v1.2.0416, version of the Oblivion.ini is generated upon launch.
