7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.

A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
You need to specify where your save folder is the oblivion.ini located in Documents\My Games\Oblivion or move your saves to the default location, Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves. At least, that is how it works normally for retail and steam versions.
22 maj 2020 · I was trying to fix the game from crashing on startup, and the game somehow managed to fix itself after I restarted my PC, but then all of my saves were gone. Are there any easy fixes? I can't find any fixes on any posts I tried looking through.
When I checked the My Games/Oblivion/ Saves all the save files are there. I need help with this because I dont want to start a new game. I tried deleting my Oblivion profile from Vortex and readding it but its still not showing the save file in the game itself
2 lis 2024 · It is often caused by a mod's assets being overwritten by the game's own BSA archives on anything other than a retail disc install, such as digital, since the BSAs will be timestamped by the date the game is installed, not when they were last modified.
