7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
26 mar 2022 · 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused. Maybe reinstall to different directory than "Program Files" will help?
A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
If so, the easiest fix for you is to register the associated .bsa files manually in the Oblivion.ini file. The file is called "Oblivion.ini" and is usually in "My Documents\My Games\Oblivion" as the default location.
10 lip 2021 · The launcher uses its registry entry, so by changing the location of your game directory or it's name would lead to the error. The only way to fix it without changing back the file's name or location is to edit the registry entry of the launcher with regedit but am not sure how to do so.
