19 lut 2015 · It will be easier and faster if you just copy your Oblivion folder from your "My Games" folder ("C:\Users\<user>\Documents\My Games\Oblivion"). That one has your saves and configuration files, or maybe just the "Saves" folder inside the "Oblivion" folder if you want to backup only your save files.
This morning i booted up oblivion and all my save files were gone. Knowing this i checked my save file path directory in the oblivion.ini and it is in the appropriate path that i will show below: C:\Users\Markz\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves
However, when I copied and pasted the Oblivion folder into a generic 'Games' folder outside program files, and tried to launch the game from OblivionLauncher.exe, I got the message 'The Oblivion Launcher could not find the Oblivion game executable. Please reinstall Oblivion.'.

When you install Steam on the new PC, install Oblivion from there, then just copy over the Oblivion folder you backed up to the new installation, replacing any files and adding the modded ones.
12 gru 2004 · I just reinstalled Windows on a new hard drive, and am attempting to get my old Oblivion saved games into the new Oblivion folder (it made me reinstall the game). How would I accomplish this (moving the save game files from the old folder to the new one)?
Would it be possible to transfer my saves from one user account to another on my computer? They didn't carry over to my account. I'm using Vista.
