17 maj 2022 · According to the generated OBSE log file, I am getting a message that says " Oblivion Reloaded failed...unable to load, missing dependent .dll file(s). This, despite the fact that the correct Oblivion Reloaded .dll file is indeed present in the Plugins folder of OBSE.
10 lip 2022 · might be missing some old libraries that the game needs and may have failed to install. go to folder...\steam\steam\apps\common\oblivion\directx and run dxsetup.exe with admin permission. use repair option if there is one. run game from game folder .exe and NOT from your steam library or an icon. sometimes an error msg appears not hidden by steam.
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
11 kwi 2021 · Oblivion not starting is almost always a registry issue. When you have Oblivion uninstalled run something like CCleaner to wipe out the registry entries. Once that is done which will take a couple of minutes then you can reinstall and should have much better luck. The better option is to launch Oblivion through a mod launcher, I like to use ...
18 kwi 2019 · The save directory is inside your personal document folder, so you will have full permissions set to access it. However, file system permissions aside, many security tools can block the game from accessing your docs folder: Controlled Folder Access from Windows 10, for example.
21 sie 2019 · The game runs for me, but I can't change any graphics settings. When I wish to enter Optins from the launcher, I receive information that the Oblivion.ini file is missing. AFAIK it should be created at the moment when I launch the game. But for some reason I can't find it anywhere.
22 paź 2020 · What usually happens is that antivirus programs delete MO2 files/block them because they think it's a virus. So download the installer, and point it to the MO2 folder that you installed it on. It should replace any broken files. Then make an exclusion in your antivirus(s) so it doesn't occur again.
