10 lip 2022 · Just re-downloaded oblivion and every time I try and start the game it doesn't get to the launch menu. I tried going into the game files to start it but I can't get past the launcher. Any help would be appreciated.
18 cze 2017 · I just recently bought and downloaded Oblivion the deluxe edition on steam. I try to run it and I get to the start menu where I can change the settings and such, but once I try to hit play the screen goes black for a couple seconds and the error message pops up telling me oblivion stopped working.
4 paź 2022 · This includes removing the game folder, the Oblivion folder in My Games (after backing up the save games you want to keep), and all registry entries for Oblivion and, if applicable, mods and unofficial patches. Incomplete un-installations are among the main reasons why Oblivion refuses to start.
11 kwi 2021 · You first need to change settings in GOG Galaxy/Steam to turn off cloud sync, then delete all the files in "Documents > My games > Oblivion", then try to re launch the game. For me, GOG ended doing a complete reinstall to repair the files I had deleted, but this time it did not automatically sync my old save files.
when I launch Oblivion in Steam, after a few seconds the launcher shows up and all the options are available, but when I press Play it says “The Oblivion Launcher could not find the Oblivion game executable. Please reinstall Oblivion.” To be clear, they are in the same folder: …/steamapps/common/Oblivion.
24 wrz 2022 · Hey everybody. I just bought oblivion on Steam and while I can get the launcher to open, the game itself will not load. When i click play, the launcher just closes and then nothing happens. Here's what I've tried so far: Running in compatibility mode. Running in windowed mode. Reinstalling the game.
