I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
10 lip 2022 · uninstalling mods does NOT remove files that the mod creates/modifies when the game runs. might be missing some old libraries that the game needs and may have failed to install. go to folder
11 sie 2014 · After you install Wrye Bash (and do get the stand-alone version) there will be a folder that appears called Oblivion mods wherever you have your steam games installed. When you open the folder you will see 2 folders, one called Bash Installers.

CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
