21 lis 2016 · First make sure that you install OBSE into the Oblivion folder and not the Data folder. Extract these files into the oblivion folder. Data. obse_1_2_416.dll. obse_editor_1_2.dll. obse_steam_loader.dll. The obse_loader application is for the retail version. Make sure the Steam Community is enabled, then launch the game normally through Steam.
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
19 cze 2020 · I have copied the 3 .dll files to the installation folder and the OBSE folder to the Data folder with the .ini file inside it. I have Steam overlay active and running properly on the game. I have tried launching both the Oblivion.exe file independently and from within my Steam library.
7 maj 2023 · I’m going to assume obge is obse but go into your oblivion directory. To get there right click oblivion on steam and go to manage browse local file. If you have oblivion script extender installed (obse) there should be a file called obse_loader and that’s how you should be running the game not from steam and you might need to run the 4gb ...
10 lip 2022 · Locate the Oblivion Documents folder. Delete: BlendSettings, Oblivion and RendererInfo configuration files from the Documents folder. Start the game and save. Exit. You can now turn cloud back on if you wish, and, enable your mods if any. You will need to reset your screen resolution using the Option on the Launcher window.
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
