26 mar 2022 · 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused. Maybe reinstall to different directory than "Program Files" will help?
21 lis 2016 · First make sure that you install OBSE into the Oblivion folder and not the Data folder. Extract these files into the oblivion folder. Data. obse_1_2_416.dll. obse_editor_1_2.dll. obse_steam_loader.dll. The obse_loader application is for the retail version. Make sure the Steam Community is enabled, then launch the game normally through Steam.
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
25 sty 2013 · Right-Click Oblivion in your steam list, select properties, go to local files tab. Press verify integrity of game cache. Wait till this has run through and downloaded the missing files. Use this if not even the launcher appears or if you get "game not available" messages. Restart Steam.
Oblivion doesn't launch after running obse_loader.exe: Make sure you've copied the OBSE files to your oblivion folder. That folder should also contain oblivion.exe.
27 kwi 2022 · Sometimes OBSE can fail to load when using the Steam version of Oblivion. There are actually two separate issue here. The first affect Proton users, and consist in the Steam Linux client being unable to load the obse_steam_loader.dll.
I was recommended to reinstall the game to solve my problems. That worked... but after I've done this Oblivion does not load all my mods or all the official DLCs? I have tried moving them around in OMM and unmarking and marking them again in the "data files" window in the Oblivion launcher...
