10 lip 2022 · Just re-downloaded oblivion and every time I try and start the game it doesn't get to the launch menu. I tried going into the game files to start it but I can't get past the launcher. Any help would be appreciated.
for like two weeks now the Minecraft Launcher refused to even properly start. First I got the Error code 0x1 and the Error Code for the game already running. It's been a while so I don't have the exact code for the latter, but I'm also unable to even get back to this point, ironically.
Try to launch it not through steam, bypass the launcher and go straight for oblivion.exe (might be named differently), launch it with admin rights. Remove oblivion files from My Documents (the place with saves and config.ini), maybe some stuff is corrupted. I honestly don't know what to advise, just throwing out ideas I'd try myself. 4. Reply.
I just bought oblivion on Steam and while I can get the launcher to open, the game itself will not load. When i click play, the launcher just closes and then nothing happens. Here's what I've tried so far: Running in compatibility mode. Running in windowed mode.
Try deleting your Oblivion.ini (but potentially keep a backup?) and launch Oblivion to generate a new one. Since it's not in the Oblivion directory it isn't usually touched by un/reinstalling. (Might have to launch through the launcher without OBSE, can't remember.)
19 paź 2022 · Checking the pictures, it seems that Minecraft is installed on the D: drive. If yes, can you try to move - reinstall the game on the C: drive instead? 21 kwi 2021 · The problem is that as soon as I run Wyre Bash and select Oblivion, it prompts me to say the ini file is corrupt and says " Your Oblivion.ini should begin with a section header (e.g." [General]"), but does not. You should edit the file to correct this.
