26 mar 2022 · 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused. Maybe reinstall to different directory than "Program Files" will help?
10 lip 2022 · I was able to find a pretty simple fix, just go to \My Games\Oblivion and delete your Oblivion.ini, with any luck it should run normally after that.
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
11 kwi 2021 · Oblivion not starting is almost always a registry issue. When you have Oblivion uninstalled run something like CCleaner to wipe out the registry entries. Once that is done which will take a couple of minutes then you can reinstall and should have much better luck.
30 mar 2021 · Chances are, your game is failing to launch due to a missing master file; a mod-file which one of your mods depends on. Take your time and do your reading. Best of luck
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
21 maj 2021 · I downloaded it, extracted it from its package and putted it in the OBSE Plugins folder. When I load my last save game, it clearly says me that one of my mods (HUD Status Bar) needs MenuQue to work, meaning the plugin actually doesn't load.
