21 lis 2016 · I usually create a folder called Games under Local Disc C and install Steam into that Games folder. Then all other Steam games are installed there too. If you have too many games installed to re-install Steam, one option is to drag the common folder onto your desktop and then re-install Steam.
26 mar 2022 · Posted March 26, 2022. I can think of some problems which could arise: 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused.
25 gru 2019 · I installed it in my oblivion folder, I even unzipped it to the folder, and clicked it and I get a window, one black and one white, that says- couldn't find obse dll(c;\gog games\oblivion\obse_1_2_416.dll). please make sure you have installed odse correctly and are running it from your oblivion folder.
11 kwi 2021 · Oblivion not starting is almost always a registry issue. When you have Oblivion uninstalled run something like CCleaner to wipe out the registry entries. Once that is done which will take a couple of minutes then you can reinstall and should have much better luck. The better option is to launch Oblivion through a mod launcher, I like to use ...
A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
7 maj 2023 · If his crash is when he tries to load a game and not when start starting the game, it’s likely that it’s due to missing or incorrect shaders. This wouldn’t surprise me if OBGE has been installed by Wrye Bash, as it deletes the vanilla shaders. Uninstall OBGE and use Oblivion Reloaded instead.
