20 maj 2020 · For a similar reason, navigate to your Documents/My Games/ folder, right-click the Oblivion folder found therein, and select Make Alias. Change the name of the alias file to “My Game/Oblivion alias,” then click and drag to the root folder of your wrapper.
18 lis 2017 · It can be found in the /Documents/My Games/Oblivion/ folder of your Mac. Make an alias and put it in your Oblivion folder. Do NOT rename it to Oblivion.ini, as it will confuse BOSS.
7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
[SOLVED]: If you have all DLC disabled to play vanilla on the STEAM GOTY Version. You're going to have to have the DLCShiveringIsles.esp active otherwise random meshes will be missing in the game. Thanks to user Cathyra for an in depth response and helping me solve this problem.
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
3 gru 2023 · When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
