I have copied the 3 .dll files to the installation folder and the OBSE folder to the Data folder with the .ini file inside it. I have Steam overlay active and running properly on the game. I have tried launching both the Oblivion.exe file independently and from within my Steam library.
7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
3 cze 2020 · You can find more information in you obse.log files directly under the Oblivion folder as that shows what OBSE plugins Oblivion is loading. If there are any errors, they would be located there.
25 gru 2019 · I installed it in my oblivion folder, I even unzipped it to the folder, and clicked it and I get a window, one black and one white, that says- couldn't find obse dll(c;\gog games\oblivion\obse_1_2_416.dll). please make sure you have installed odse correctly and are running it from your oblivion folder.
A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
2 mar 2021 · try reinstalling wrye bash inside of your gog/oblivion main folder and launch from there as well as checking with your anti virus that it is allowing it to launch, and choose standalone. I use wrye for oblivion and use it with mo2 for skyrim, fallout, and use standalone for them. good luck;)
