24 paź 2010 · The "Program Files" folder on the system partition is a protected folder and UAC (user account control) may block access to some files needed for the installation. I can confirm that there's no conflict between Oblivion and Windows 7 (all expansions and 30+ mods installed).
I have the 64 bit version of Windows 7. I have been unable to install Oblivion, although I was able to do so on my previous computer which ran XP. When it gets to the end of the install process it displeays the following message. Error: Data error (cyclical redundancy check).

Please reinstall Oblivion". this happens whether I click the shortcut or the launcher itself in the oblivion folder in the file explorer
7 wrz 2017 · Your oblivion_default.ini is not the one you're looking for. Typically the oblivion.ini gets automatically installed outside Program Files to your Documents folder. Check Documents/Games(or MyGames)/Oblivion
