When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
8 maj 2011 · If not, there is a problem with the way you are installing the meshes. Try it this way; open your Oblivion folder (first sub-folder should be "Data") in one window, and a mod that you are missing meshes for in another window (make sure you have extracted using 7zip).

First, if you haven't already, simply close Wabbajack and retry the install. It keeps all your progress and will try to get the files it failed to download before. This usually fixes those errors. CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
