2 sie 2010 · If you do get fixed copy all the data from the DVD to a folder called Oblivion and then make that an ISO and burn it. Thats what I did. Or you could get the game again off of a certain bay if you feel really cheap.

When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
29 sty 2011 · My only advice at the moment would be to compleetely uninstall oblivion, restart your computer, re-install it and that should take care of the missing files issue. You might want to also look through the thread below.
Download the 4GB patch from NTCore; Extract the executable to someplace for keeping. Run the executable. Select Oblivion.exe (not the Oblivion launcher or the OBSE launcher). The patcher makes a backup in the same folder should you need to revert to the original.
