You need to specify where your save folder is the oblivion.ini located in Documents\My Games\Oblivion or move your saves to the default location, Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves. At least, that is how it works normally for retail and steam versions. The default in the .ini is SLocalSavePath=Saves\.
7 wrz 2007 · The idea is that windows has an %appdata% path (‘C:\Documents and Settings [username]\Application Data’ by default, although you can change it via tweakui), which allows multiple users to have their own settings, and in the case of games, saves without affecting other users on the same computer.
7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
