Normally, Oblivion.ini is stored in the My Documents\My Games directory for each user. Similarly, Plugins.txt is stored under Users\TheNameoftheUser\Local Settings\Application Data\Oblivion\Plugins.txt.
13 mar 2022 · If it does not work, then create a Oblivion folder in Documents/My Games/ copy the default ini from the Steam, Oblivion folder. Put it in Oblivion folder you just created, rename it to Oblivion.ini. Open the ini and change your resolution settings.
26 kwi 2008 · When somebody refers to the 'Oblivion' Directory they are talking about the folder that has the game and most (but not all) of the subdirectories required to play Oblivion. It is usually located at C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion on an XP system.
6 lis 2018 · Your Oblivion.ini file is found in your My Games folder, not your Oblivion folder. The Oblivion_default.ini file doesn't actually do anything and is there as a reference for ini tweakers. When you launch Oblivion or the Oblivion launcher, it generates a new ini file if it doesn't detect it.

To force Oblivion to use the highest possible shader package (Oblivion only supports up to Shader Model 3.0, by default 2.0 is used), first enter the "Oblivion" directory located in the "My Games" folder (which is in turn located in the My Documents directory).
