17 mar 2024 · I recently bought Oblivion and I cannot get it to create save files. I have tried everything I can to turn off the read-only attribute in the saves game file and it just keeps resetting to read-only. Any ideas?
26 mar 2022 · Posted March 26, 2022. I can think of some problems which could arise: 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused.
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
16 gru 2018 · Here is a tutorial to help you get started with CS. I recommend using it with OBSE and the Oblivion Construction Set Extender. Make sure CS is installed in your Oblivion directory, the CS .exe should be in the same folder as Oblivion.exe.
31 sie 2021 · Make sure Oblivion is selected on the left, and check the box that says Force load libraries (*). Click the Configure Libraries button next to the check box. A Force Load Settings window will pop up.
11 wrz 2011 · The CTL error means the CS can't find the Oblivion resources to open. Is the CS in your Oblivion root directory?
Alternatively, you can remove it and install a compatible codec pack; see the PCS Library for details. Some instability issues and graphical anomalies can be fixed by upgrading your video card drivers; at other times issues, are fixed by downgrading video card drivers.
