26 mar 2022 · Posted March 26, 2022. I can think of some problems which could arise: 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused.
There is a way to get OBSE to launch properly from what I found. Find launcher_settings.cfg (in the content folder) and open it with notepad. Then you just change the Binary Path line to BinaryPath=obse_loader.exe
11 gru 2016 · make sure you have obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_steam_loader.dll and the data folder, and then drag and drop those into the root oblivion folder. the .exe isn't required, instead with the overlay enabled you launch oblivion from your steam library and obse will hook in automatically.
Solution: This issue affects many utilities for Oblivion, so the cleanest, safest method to avoid this and further related issues is to uninstall Oblivion and reinstall Oblivion to a folder outside of UAC protection (i.e., C:\Games). The same applies to Steam, if Oblivion is installed through it.
Ok so I've been wanting to install Heartland but no matter what I try wabbajack can't locate the game. I've tried reinstalling both wabbajack and Oblivion and repairing my Steam library. I've seen to look in the registry editor but I can't find anything.
19 cze 2020 · I have copied the 3 .dll files to the installation folder and the OBSE folder to the Data folder with the .ini file inside it. I have Steam overlay active and running properly on the game. I have tried launching both the Oblivion.exe file independently and from within my Steam library.
Make sure you've copied the OBSE files to your oblivion folder. That folder should also contain oblivion.exe. Check the file obse_loader.log in your oblivion folder for errors.
