7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
This morning i booted up oblivion and all my save files were gone. Knowing this i checked my save file path directory in the oblivion.ini and it is in the appropriate path that i will show below: C:\Users\Markz\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves
Install Directory[edit] Where you installed Oblivion to. Contains game and launcher executables, and TESCS (CS4) mod editor. English Default: \Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion.
You need to specify where your save folder is the oblivion.ini located in Documents\My Games\Oblivion or move your saves to the default location, Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves. At least, that is how it works normally for retail and steam versions.
25 sty 2013 · Right-Click Oblivion in your steam list, select properties, go to local files tab. Press verify integrity of game cache. Wait till this has run through and downloaded the missing files. Use this if not even the launcher appears or if you get "game not available" messages.
Your saved games are located in your C:\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion directory.
14 maj 2021 · Most of the time that happens because you have your game installed into the program file folder(UAC). Install your game anywhere else, like into a folder on the C drive you name games. Windows protects changes on the programs files folders.
