10 lip 2022 · Just re-downloaded oblivion and every time I try and start the game it doesn't get to the launch menu. I tried going into the game files to start it but I can't get past the launcher. Any help would be appreciated.
15 cze 2019 · Oblivion Stutter Remover (OBSR) causes crashing now, as Windows 10 released an update that breaks a feature in the mods OBSE plugin .ini file. This is caused by "bHookCriticalSections" being set to 1.
16 cze 2017 · Deleting the INI in the my games folder doesn't help as the game don't start. Clicking in the Oblivion Folder does the same result. Oblivion.EXE and Oblivion Launcher does nothing, it loads but nothing comes up.
I don't have any mods. But when I start the game, it shows the startup menu (the one with play, data files, etc...) and I click play, it doesn't show anything and closes the launcher. I tried many troubleshooting ways, but it just keeps happening. I really want to play this game, please help.
15 lip 2021 · What Causes Oblivion Crashes on Startup? For the most part, the problem is caused by the in-game music which is, again, caused by missing codec packs on users’ computers. The game can also start crashing after you have changed too many in-game settings or the .ini files.
14 kwi 2021 · To be absolutely clear, I have: -Set both the launcher and the game itself to compatibility on Win 7. -Downloaded the DX June 2010 Runtime package, and made sure DX is up to date. -Made sure DEP is in the default setting in Windows. -set Fullscreen optimization is off. -Started the game with nothing else running in the background.
12 sty 2018 · Update: No change on the first PC: Launch menu comes up twice, then Oblivion starts normally. Unless someone comes up with an idea why this happens, I see no way to get this resolved. Different behaviour on 2 different PC's, but nothing preventing me from playing - not a reasonable basis for investing a lot of time and effort.
