10 lip 2022 · I was able to find a pretty simple fix, just go to \My Games\Oblivion and delete your Oblivion.ini, with any luck it should run normally after that.
26 mar 2022 · 1.Running OBSE with shortcut - in shortcut there can be directory mismatch. 2.Some security issue - for some reason access to Oblivion.exe was refused. Maybe reinstall to different directory than "Program Files" will help?
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
If The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion fails to launch, go through any installed multimedia programs (DVD writing, Music players, A/V editing) and uninstall any programs that install their own codecs. Once you find the one that lets the game launch, you may then re-install the other programs once again.
21 kwi 2021 · The problem is that as soon as I run Wyre Bash and select Oblivion, it prompts me to say the ini file is corrupt and says " Your Oblivion.ini should begin with a section header (e.g." [General]"), but does not. You should edit the file to correct this.
26 kwi 2019 · Despite using the steam version of the game, I have tried running the Loader.Exe, to no avail. In my Oblivion folder I have inserted the Data folder from the OBSE zip, obse_steam_loader.dll, obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, and obse_loader.exe for good measure.
10 lip 2011 · If you have the program path set to "C:\Program Files\....\obse_loader.exe -editor" (that is, the parameter included in the quoted string) then Windows will try to find that entire string as a filename, which of course doesn't exist.
