5 kwi 2010 · It sounds like OBSE is not installed in the same folder as Oblivion.exe. Right click on your Oblivion desktop shortcut and select "Properties". A window will open with three tabs at the top name "General", "Shortcut" and "Compatibility".
27 mar 2016 · If you've encountered yellow exclamation marks, these signal incorrectly installed or glitched meshes, in which case you need to add the .bsa file names of the added mod to the SArchiveList of your Oblivion.ini in your My Documents/My Games/Oblivion directory.
28 cze 2024 · The patch automatically creates a backup of the patched Oblivion.exe inside the game folder. If you're using MO2 with the Root Builder plugin, this backup may cause issues. Move it to another location or add an exclusion rule "*.Backup" in the Root Builder settings.
10 lip 2022 · go to folder...\steam\steam\apps\common\oblivion\directx and run dxsetup.exe with admin permission. use repair option if there is one. run game from game folder .exe and NOT from your steam library or an icon. sometimes an error msg appears not hidden by steam.
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
21 kwi 2021 · The problem is that as soon as I run Wyre Bash and select Oblivion, it prompts me to say the ini file is corrupt and says " Your Oblivion.ini should begin with a section header (e.g." [General]"), but does not. You should edit the file to correct this.
