First you should backup any save files you have, they should be in \My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves, just copy that \Saves\ folder to your desktop so that if you can't get it to work and your installation is fucked then you can just reinstall and play from your uncorrupted copies.
23 cze 2014 · When I try to load a save in oblivion, the save gets to the loading screen but does not load and then it crashes! I made a discussion on this before but no one really replied to it. I really want a fix to this.
21 gru 2019 · I can't load any saves near this locations, and my previous save slot before this was a good 30 hours of gameplay away. Tried running it in windowed, fullscreen and disabiling visual screen effects, and nothing works. I even tried with the Oblivion Unoffical Patch but it still doesn't work.
If the game crashes when you load a specific save, try to load any save that works, get your character in the same cell as you were in the "corrupted" save, then reload.
You can try deleting your Oblivion.ini and see if it fixes the problem. If not you can try removing the save from the folder and allow the Steam Cloud to replace it. Sometimes, although rarely, the Steam Cloud may have a non corrupted version of the save.
That is really odd behaviour for a vanilla game save in my experience. You could try verifying the game cache files in the steam properties window for oblivion Steam > Oblivion > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files
17 kwi 2011 · Try deleting the oblivion.ini, and renderer.txt in the Oblivion folder in my games. ( no mods running) try creating a character, (no imported face, no mods.....) and see if that will work.
