After the most recent update, my cc/mods have not been reading in-game. I checked the box that says enable mods after updating, all my cc is in my mods folder with the resource.cfg file and there are no subfolders.
Default value is \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods Compare the path with the path you're currently using for your mods. If you use another folder, copy your mods to the mods folder, where the game can find them.
EA/Maxis aren't responsible for broken mods/cc. It's up to the creators to fix. Step 1: Move the Mods folder to the desktop, Delete Game Cache Files and delete the localthumbcache.package file from The Sims 4 folder, in the Documents folder. - [\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4]
Try moving your mods folder to the desktop. Start the game and a new mods folder will be generated in the documents -electronic arts-sims 4 folder . Exit the game. Then put the cc back from the desktop mods folder in batches into the new mods folder and test after each batch to see if they appear in the game.

So i recently uploaded my entire mod folder from my Mac to google drive, then downloaded it onto my PC; then downloaded new cc onto my PC. Now when I open the game, some of the older CC shows up from my Mac (but not all) and even though I’ve re-downloaded it, default replacement skins won’t show up in CAS (default replacement eyes will though).
