Oblivion Mod Manager (abbreviated OBMM) is a modding utility created by Timeslip. It allows the user to install and organize mods, organize the load order of mods, and implement multiple types of archive invalidation.
This is a utility for managing plugins, and also for packing them for distribution. It can be used either as an enhanced version of the oblivion launcher's data files selector, or as a more advanced mod manager when mods are specially packed into omod files.
Download and extract Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) in your Oblivion directory, so that OblivionModManager.exe is in the same directory as Oblivion.exe. Running/restarting MO2 should automatically add the executable for OBMM, but if it doesn't then manually add the OBMM executable via the Edit Executables option.
OBMM is much more sensitive to changes in the Data folder that it does not control. Certain methods of using these two brilliant tools together are pretty much worry free, however. You can mix their use in any way you wish, but the following will only prescribe some of the most secure options.
Windows 7 and Windows Vista users, right-click on TESConstructionSet.exe (in the Oblivion folder) and flag it to 'Run as Administrator'. Install Oblivion Mod Manager . OBMM, Timeslip's mod managing utility is probably the oldest, most-respected utilities for Oblivion. It is a new mod user's best friend. Download OBMM (executable version).
27 mar 2016 · If you're using OBMM and attempting to install a .zip file that has loose files rather than the .omod format then you can create one in the .omod format for the manager to handle. First, open your Oblivion Mod Manager found in the root directory Oblivion folder NOT your Data folder.
