  1. 21 lip 2009 · While you say Oblivion\Data folder your ss has everything going in the unopened Oblivion folder, so there is a good chance that, for some (thick), the mod will not end up with the esp in Data, and the animation file in Meshes folder, but instead in the Oblivion folder.

  2. Firstly, with Wryebash and Oblivion Mod Manager and the like, you will not need to personally mess with the data folder. These programs will add and remove files from the data folder by activating and deactivating the mods.

  3. 20 lis 2018 · Extract the files so that the files (esp, bsa, etc.) and the folders (meshes, textures, sounds, etc.) are in the Oblivion data folder (\Games\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data). Activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp/esm. You have now installed a mod. Congratulations!

  4. Open the Oblivion Launcher or mod manager of choice (OBMM, Wrye). If you're using the Launcher, select Data Files, find the mod's .esp and tick it. If you're using OBMM, simply find the mod in the Load Order and tick it.

  5. Download Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) to the Oblivion folder; Extract it there. (It will add a folder containing the OBSE files.) Copy the following up into the Oblivion folder: "obse_1_2_416.dll", "obse_editor_1_2.dll", and "obse_loader.exe."

  6. 27 lip 2023 · You can always hit properties on steam and check the local files and it'll just take you straight there. I've tried installing this with NMM and it drops the files into the data folder instead of the directory.

  7. Be Aware. OBMM has to be installed in Oblivion's install folder. The default OMODs folder is Oblivion/obmm/mods, and it can be changed via the Settings menu. OBMM has a lot of useful features among its 'Batch actions', 'Import/Export' and 'Utilities' submenus.
